Sy Bohy, Ryan Shea, Diana Cheung, Sanna Ali and Sy Bohy cofounded this during Professor Tom Kosnik's E145 Class (I think one of them made the logo but I forget

I said Sy Bohy twice because he helped me speak that the last afternoon session for Professor Eesley's E145 class.

hi there,

The old way was to talk about entrepreneurship.
The old way was to arm-chair quarterback startups
The old way was to strategize and pontificate...

The new way is to DO entrepreneurship.

Its why I creepily love E145 so much. Yeah, I crashed class a couple of times.

OK, ok..., I admit... a FEW times.

Anyway, in applying entrepreneurship and activating my two talks at E145... I wanna help you, as Steven Blank says, "Get out of the building"

Yes, Steve is a mentor.

*** "HOW I Met Your Next Mentor" ***
(It should be a TV series like How I Met Your Mother)

I met him when I crashed the Leonard Speieser and Dave McClure hosted startup2startup dinner. I had his book in my hand and had four pages of sharpie notes in his first few pages of "Four Steps to an Epiphany". Anyway, when I asked Prof Blank for his John Hancock (if you're foreign, a john hancock is a signature. He is a founding father of America and my goal is to be more American than him. Seriously.)

Anyway, Steven looked for a blank spot to autograph the book and saw my notes. It made an impression. I went from founders dinner crasher to VIP when Steve Blank mentioned me from the front of the room.

I want this event to be your ROI and I wanna lop off a third of your school loans in 45 really good minutes.

Schedule

4:15     Registration. Look for balloons!
4:20
E145 Fastpitches in the Bullpen. (Video-ed)

4:15 - 5:00 Meet and network with VIPs who can
(1) mentor you
(2) fund you
(3) sponsor you

You will have live contact with at least 3 VIPs. I recommend you text me who you wanna talk to @6502838008. make sure you text who you are, #e145, what your team is. Its ok to blast me with 3-10 texts.

I require you to read (and master) four articles that take 30 minutes http://bit.ly/vc0111
It centers around the 'hack' of "Getting a VC you don't know to mentor you" and 'Getting a VC to open up their rolodex for you'

Asse9 stands for Austin Secret Society of Entrepreneurs 9. It means if you're not striving to be entrepreneurial, you're asinine.

No we don't have a website or else it would not be very secret now would it

All we have is a hashtag that we rarely use '#asse9' but what we do have is a huge rolodex.
